I felt good when I started Cymbalta but am actually terrified of taking it again. I came across your site while sifting through countless articles describing the horrors of cymbalta. How has ceasing the meds made you feel?

I haven't been here in a while since I've changed from fibrodenial to dxunknown (got over that FMS slump and back to being undiagnosed) and I hate to hear you had to experience the not-so-wonderful world that is Cymbalta. I pretty much experienced the same thing with it. Anyway, wanted to share a new med my neurologist insists will help with nerve pain.. Lamictal. You may have tried it, but if not, it might be worth looking into. It was originally an anti-seizure medication, then used for bi-polar disorder (we keep getting these psych drugs.. makes me wonder if they think we are just crazy), and now has been found to, like I said, reduce nerve pain. I have much less burning pain in my extremeties so I think it is helping, but it has come and gone before so who knows. Still, might be worth your time!
